At the Self Discovery Organization (SDO), we believe every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and discover the greatness within them. The Send a Child to School Scheme exists to break financial barriers and unlock the hidden potential of children in underserved communities.

During our recent outreach at the Junior Secondary School, Kuchigoro (Abuja), SDO fully paid the tuition fees of 27 primary school students and 10 secondary school students. This support lifted a major burden from their families and gave these children one powerful gift — the freedom to pursue education without fear of being sent home for non-payment.

But our commitment goes beyond paying fees.

As part of this outreach, we also launched the Self Discovery Club in the secondary school. The club is designed to nurture students in: • Purpose discovery and self-awareness • Diligence and academic excellence • Ethical and transformational leadership • Character development and positive influence • Harnessing and refining their gifts, talents, and creativity

The club will be supervised by the SDO Abuja Chapter Team, who will provide ongoing mentorship and regularly report on the students’ progress. Students excelling in music, arts, crafts, and other creative abilities will also receive direct sponsorship and development opportunities from SDO.

Our message to every child we support is clear: “Excellence is your responsibility. Rise to the opportunity before you.”

Through tuition support, mentorship, and purpose-driven leadership training, SDO is building a generation of confident, visionary, and value-driven young leaders.
